Heritage & Craft

Agemo is a London-based ceramic studio led by Kehinde Lágbájá, creating homeware pieces that weave Yoruba heritage into contemporary design.
Rooted in the symbolic language of Yoruba craft and spirituality, Kehinde’s work explores transformation, utility and ritual. Natural clays are sourced and refined in small batches, every piece is then hand-built or wheel-thrown, striated, then finished with custom glazes that echo the earth tones of West Africa.
Through a deep respect for heritage and material, Agemo offers ceramics that feel both ancient and immediate, objects for the home that invite reflection, connection, and continuity.

Agemo has received shouts from industry tastemakers such as Dezeen, Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, T Magazine, Design Anthology, and Crafts Magazine.
Kehinde has also exhibited at The Future Perfect, R & Company, Maison SAD, Gallery FUMI, Sarah Myerscough Gallery, and Functional Art Gallery amongst others.
Beyond the studio, Kehinde’s work contributes to broader conversations on identity, craftsmanship, and the reimagining of tradition within contemporary design. Agemo is an ongoing exploration of transformation.
